Hey ya'll! My name is Chris Culham your Coordinator of Student Life for the 2008-2009 academic year! I extend my greetings to all first year students, and hope your transition into Canadore College has been a success. I also want to welcome back all returning students to Canadore. I am heading into my fourth year here at Canadore College, for a post diploma in Multi-Media Design. I recently graduated from the three year Graphic Design program.

As Coordinator of Student Life, one of my key responsibilities is to organize and execute this years Frosh Week, "That 90's Frosh." This orientation week is a fun packed; electrifying week full of excitement and a great tool to kick start your social life here at Canadore. This week will provide you the student, the opportunity to become familiar with the campus, North Bay and fellow Frosh!

During the school year I will also be responsible for our student food bank in co-operation with NUSU. (Nipissing University Student Union) Our food bank carries a wide variety of non-perishable food items, with a friendly discrete operating service. If you are in need of food, feel free to stop by the Student Center office and we would be happy to offer you this service. Students who are interested in donating to the food bank, can drop off there food items during office hours.

As this year's Student Life, I want to ensure that your year has been taken into consideration. I plan to offer those great times that we often forget, from those nights of regrettable decisions and life teaching moments. So strap in, this year CSRC plans to offer YOU the student, opportunities besides hitting the books and writing papers. College is THE best time of your life, so live it up!
