I'm Jennifer Pitoscia, your Canadore Students Representative Council Vice President Internal for 2008/2009. Whether you are new or returning I'm glad you have made it this far so go ahead give yourself a pat on the back. There are so many opportunities here at Canadore College with our great faculty and staff which will allow you to succeed beyond your expectations.

This year as your VP Internal I will be in charge of running Shinerama! This is one of the biggest events that take place during frosh week. Shinerama is a nationwide fundraiser for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. So don't be shy and get involved. Not only are you helping to fight to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, but I guarantee you will have a blast. I'm also responsible for updating the CSRC website, putting together the student handbook, overseeing all the recognized clubs and fundraising events.

So get involved, take a look into joining a committee or even starting up your own because there is funding available right now. Canadore College is a great school with so many opportunities and some of the most amazing people you will meet along the way, so take this opportunity in joining a committee or better yet start your own club.
