Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

For starters I would like to welcome you all to Canadore College. You are going to have some of the best times of your life here, and also meet some pretty great friends along the way.

My name is Kourtney Bossert and I am your 2008-2009 Canadore Students Representative Council (CSRC) President. It is my job to make sure that you, the students are getting everything that you deserve. I am your voice on various committees throughout the school such as, College Council, Canadore College Board of Governors, Ancillary Fee's Committee, Canadore Alumni Association, and the Student Centre Management Committee. We are also active members of the College Student Alliance (CSA).

I encourage you to get involved in all of the activities throughout the school year starting with Frosh Week. Frosh Week will help you meet new people and feel comfortable in your surroundings. Also for the returning students, come out and help out with Shinerama, it isn't just for the newbies! We are always planning things for everyone to attend during the academic year, so come out and have a good time! College is fun, and we are here to make sure that happens. Not only do we offer great events throughout the year, but we have a ton of services for the students in the CSRC/NUSU Central Office. Stop by anytime with any questions that you might have and we will be sure to answer them and keep you updated with what is going on.

If you ever have any questions, feel free to stop by the CSRC office, or give us a shout. Our doors are always open so please don't hesitate to come in and talk. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you this year.
